DMC 2009 - System Insights and MTConnect

We participated in the Defense Manufacturer’s Conference 2009 in Orlando, Florida, showcasing the MTConnect standard in applications to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity. The value of SI technology in improving warfighter readiness and decreasing platform costs was demonstrated, along with the benefits of using standardized interfaces such as MTConnect in communicating with manufacturing equipment.

We presented our technology to a large group of defense manufacturers, and discussed how we can serve their goals of supporting warfighters in the field, increasing the ability to handle production demands in the face of threats, and increase the overall affordability of critical platforms and systems. We were encouraged by the reception of our technology and how it is becoming part of many proposals for research and advancement in manufacturing.
